Methodology
DentalAtlas is a record of what we could verify, not a review site. These are the rules every listing follows.
We record what we can open
Every listing links the vendor page or FDA record we actually read. If we cannot reach a source, the field stays blank rather than guessed.
Every fact carries a date
“Last checked” is the day we last opened the source and confirmed it was still live. A record with no date is not published.
FDA numbers are copied exactly
510(k) numbers and decision dates come from the official FDA device database, character for character. Clearance is not approval, and it is not an endorsement.
Missing information says so
When a vendor does not publish pricing, integrations, or language support, the field reads “Not stated by the vendor”. We do not fill gaps with assumptions.
No scores, no reviews, no rankings
We publish no ratings, no testimonials, and no “best of” lists. Ordering is by evidence status, check date, and name.
Paid placement never changes a record
A sponsored slot is labelled Sponsored and links with rel="sponsored". It cannot change an evidence status, add a source, or remove a finding.
We never claim compliance for a vendor
A vendor privacy or security statement is reported as exactly that: a vendor statement. DentalAtlas does not assert regulatory compliance on behalf of any product.
